INGREDIENTS:
1. Ghee/ Oil 1-2 Tablespoons
2. Jeera (Cumin) Seeds 2 Teaspoons
3. Kalonji Seeds (Onion seeds) 2 Teaspoons (Optional)
4. Hing 2 pinches
5. Bay Leaf 2
6. Cardamom 2
7. Cloves 2
8. Cinnamon Stick 1
9. Star Anise 2
10. Onions Thinly Sliced 1.5 Cups
11. Kabuli Channa (Soaked overnight and boiled) 1 Cup
12. Any Mango Pickle 2 Tablespoons (grind in mixie with some water)
13. Pudhina 1/2 Cup
14. Salt to Taste
15. Garam Masala 1/2 Teaspoon
16. Chilli Powder 2 Teaspoons
17. Turmeric Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
19. Basmathi Rice 1 Cup (washed and soaked for 15 min)
20. Water 1.5 cups
